Fire Emblem Amie ⊟
Nintendo released a lengthy video for Fire Emblem IF demonstrating features new to the series, like the “My Castle” system allowing you to customize, defend, and freely walk around in your home base (with a top-down view and a behind-the shoulder perspective). It’s pretty neat to have a mini-town with whatever facilities you decide to build, as well as a place that houses your characters, StreetPass visitors, and heroes scanned in from Amiibos (the Marth, Ike, Robin and Lucina figures are all supported).
That’s all great, but the megaton is that you can “interact” with characters’ faces using the touchscreen, similar to Pokémon X/Y’s Amie feature. Who knows, maybe we’ll get to feed them snacks too! You can see the Amie-like feature in action in these GIFs from James.
